June 25- Current State of Our "State"
From saying that the Covid- 19 virus will be controlled well within 3 days to openly saying that the government is in no position to control the disease and everything rest with God alone clears the air of rationality the government believes in. This speaks volumes about the leadership qualities and further pushes the point that hazy leadership can't sustain all the time and when push comes to shove, the only requirement is clear vision, rational practices and sound leadership. Everything other than this is just clear management hungama. Shifting your goalpost time and again and restraining transparency to sustain the government narrative is just plain foolhardiness in handling this pandemic.
As for all to see, the state is in a precarious situation- all thanks to the poor handling of the pandemic. Notwithstanding, the politics of the pandemic between the ruling party and the opposition is just plain- you come up with a stupid idea and I come up with a stupid suggestion. There is a shear dearth of rationality at multiple levels of our decision making. One thing is certain for now and ever, the need to embrace science at all spheres should be the fundamental principle of the government. Time and again, we just can't sustain all time by living in a managerial setup and falsehood. This pandemic should be controlled and not managed.
